I love to do things all by myself!

I like to brush my teeth all by myself. I know how to get my toothbrush & toothpaste, & run it under the water & everything. I am really into self help skills these days. I like to go get my diaper out of the drawer when I need a new one, I like to clean up after myself & put things away, I am getting my cup when it is time for a nap. If there is anything on the floor I will pick it up & hand it to you. When it is time to eat I pull my highchair out to get ready to get in, & I can turn on my cd player when it is time to play my music for bed. I also turn off my light & close the door. I can climb up & down stairs & get myself up & down off chairs or the couch. I've also learned some sign language. I will use the sign for "more" when I want another bite of food, & I will do the sign for "all done" when I am finished. I can say ball & book, da da and ma ma, I like to say "gone" when I drop something off the side of my highchair, or I will hide something underneath a blanket and say "gone". I am pointing at everything & everyone, if you ask me who someone is, I will point at the right person, & if you ask me to point out an animal or object I know the right one too. I can also show you where my eyes, ears, mouth, nose, toes, fingers, & belly button are. I am getting SO BIG!
